Company: DemiCorn To create a logo for a high fashion girly clothing company inspired by Japanese fashion

     Using less ink in logos really does give it a more refine kinda of look to them. Seeing the classic McDonald's logo compared to one with less ink, I prefer the lesser ink look. It's way more cleaner and looks more refine than the old one. I believe this is a new cool stylist way to help our environment just by changing a few details. Less is more.

                    It's certainly not a surprise finding out that "Beauty Work" exists in Hollywood. Everything is about beauty standards. If you aren't attractive enough people wouldn't watch or pay any attention to you. Politicians could even use beauty to get elected because studies have shown that people have more trust into someone they find attractive then someone they do not. I don't really have much of a problem with people editing their photos to enhance their look but I feel that if asked whether it's real or not.

      Rethinking the way we sit down is very interesting. Us people dismiss the simple everything stuff we use today, like the chair. Designers see these simple thinks more complex, well they have to. Niels took the chair and opened our eyes on how complex it truly is. He compared it to an airplane design, but instead of focusing in on flying, the chair focuses on a person's body. Such as how the seat cover and cushion. Every detail must be essential and provide comfort to the future person that get's to sit on it. 

                                                Graphic Design is found everywhere you go, whether it's on a website or on the Wendy's fast food take out bag, it's hard to miss these designs. In the article "How to Ruin a Great Graphic Design." talks about how graphic designs appearance is very important to the message that design is trying to send. How a simple capitalized letter can effect how a person reads it. When designing whether that be a poster or an ad in a magazine, I agree that it is important that every detail of that particular design sends it message correctly. That the message is crystal clear. It doesn't have to be so complex either. Sometimes the complexity even ruins the design. Simple is better.  

What is your previous computer experience? I have a computer at home and have taken 3 years of Graphic Design at my previous high school. What do you hope to get out of this class? I hope to gain more experience and increase my photoshop skills. What is the relationship between computers and visual studies? Everything now is on computers, so being able to create visuals on the computer is very important What is your experience with Photoshop and Illustrator? I've been able to use these programs in the classes I took in highschool.  I'm most comfortable with photoshop. Do you have a computer at home? If so dose it have Photoshop and Illustrator?
